Summer Sewing Projects

I bought these patterns on sale awhile ago, but I haven't had time to make them yet.  I'm making the dress from silver fabric that I previously made into curtains, the shirt from yellow fabric I bought last week, and the skirt from fabric that I'm buying this weekend.

We shall see how they turn out...

Banter Banners

These banners were all over the blogs a few weeks ago, so I thought I would procrastinate posting about them.  They are so cheeky and adorable.  I want to buy one to hang in my dining room or over my bed like these pennant banners:

Aardvark Manifesto

I thought I would post another one of my favorite posters.  It has all these cute things to strive for like: writing letters, drinking tea, and keeping it wonky...  Who wouldn't want to do these things?

Minor detail: Forget the top one (in the largest font), TV is awesome

A Year of Lex

This is for my sweet cousin Angie (who can't decide whether to be baby crazy or not) that apparently stalks my blog without commenting (which is sad because I already have few commenters as is.)

New York City!!!

Looks like I'm going to NYC in two weeks!  I'm so excited... Chrysler Building, Central Park, Brooklyn Bridge, Seagram Building, Empire State, Paley Park, SoHo, High Line Park, Times Square...

If I were brave...

I would ride this Linus Bike around Salt Lake City, but alas the bike lanes frighten me and don't even get me started on intersections.

artquirk

I love this Etsy store, artquirk that sells prints and artwork by Nina Moscrip.  The paintings are so fresh and whimsical.  They make me feel like I could paint super cute paintings too, and I like that kind of encouragement.

New Apartment, hopefully...

I have been scavenging for apartments, and I seem to have the opposite problem of most people.  I can see myself in almost any place.  I start painting it, adding furniture, fixing problems, changing cabinet knobs.  It's starting to be a real problem... because I don't have a job yet.

Here are some of my favorite inspiration photos.
