Although minimalism has its advantages, there is much to be said for excess.
Peter Durham has an eclectic style and brings his background in France, Spain, and New York City to his 1920's Spanish home in Los Angeles.

I adore the collection of art that really allows the room to have personality.  The couch looks so inviting and the mix of patterns is bright and modern, with a vintage twist.
This is a room that looks personal and warm, and I think that's the real point of design.
