Happy Friday!

I hope you all have a fantastic weekend!

I'm planning to make a mushroom risotto and watching old movies...

Travel List: Melbourne

I've had this idea in my head for a week or so, trying to figure out the best program to use for formatting.  The execution is still a work in progress, but this is my ideal packing list for a trip to the Australian Open and surrounding Melbourne...

Lonny Magazine

If you haven't already discovered the magic that is Lonny, then it's your lucky day.  Lonny is an online magazine filled with beautiful inspiration, interviews, and helpful tips.

Isn't it fun when you find a whole new dimension, like: online magazines, vegan restaurants, or tennis tournaments you never knew existed?  Life is full of fun little surprises.

Interior of the Week

Well, after a much too short weekend, it's time to start another week...
I'm ready for the crisp autumn weather and looking forward to a pumpkin spice latte.

Mighty Life List

I hope you all have a fantastic weekend!  I'll be spending time with my nieces and nephew and hopefully crossing something off my Mighty Life List.  (I'm thinking of baking multigrain bread.)

Ilana Kohn

These gorgeous pieces are from Ilana Kohn's Fall/Winter 2011 line.  I love the simplicity of the designs and her bold use of pattern and color.  Each piece is handcrafted by Ilana, crazy!

Happy 2nd Blogiversary!

I just remembered that it was the 2nd blogiversary last Saturday!  In some ways it feels like I've always had this blog, cataloging in my head or bookmarks on my laptop, but it's been so nice to have a place to compile my thoughts and experiment.

Let me share some 2nd year stats:
1.  number of published posts: 244
2.  number of published comments: 58
3. number of Interior of the Weeks: 46
3.  post with the most pageviews: Fashion Muse: Mountain Girl (Dec 17 2010)
5.  countries with highest viewership (besides USA): Canada, UK, Germany, Australia

Cheers!
Pam

Interior of the Week

I am still obsessed with coral.  (As seen here previously.)  This bathroom gets a serious dose of coral on the walls to offset the traditional tiles and vintage sink.

Dr. Hauschka

I've been researching skin care products from Dr. Hauschka since reading about them in this month's Lucky magazine, which featured beauty editors sharing their skincare routines.

It is such an interesting line of products with a refreshing holistic approach.  (Apparently I've been doing it all wrong:)  I've been trying to follow their technique this week, we'll see how it goes...

Lauren Michaela Dunn

I came across Lauren Michaela's beautiful work in Antler Magazine: Vol. 6.
These surreal photos of Paris are my absolute favorites.

100 Years of East London Style

This video is incredible; two dancers go through all the years of fashion in London and, of course, the dancing trends!

Gretchen Jones

Do you all remember the winner of last season's Project Runway?  Well, if you have forgotten, or suppressed, it was Gretchen Jones.  She has an exclusive jewelry line for Piperlime.  I love the style of the pieces, but sadly they're a bit expensive for gold-plated.

Happy Friday!

It is already the final weekend of the US Open and it finally feels like the end of summer to me.

Hope you all have a great weekend!  Here are a few of my favorite inspirations for the week...

Zara

Zara has finally announced that it's shipping to the states!  I've been eyeing this bag...

atelier Halo

These pieces from atelier Halo are beautiful porcelain bisque and enamelled by hand.  They would be such a sweet addition to any home.

Interior of the Week

I hope you all have a fantastic (and well deserved ;) Labor Day!  I'm spending my time watching the U.S. Open and planning my trip there for next year...

Here's a cozy room for your holiday.

Side Table Designs

I love how personal bedside tables have become; they can be an expression of your aesthetics or just  a great place to store your favorite reading material.

What do you use for a beside table?  Is it neat or is it messy?

Armor

This armor jewelry is absolutely fascinating.  The avant-garde pieces would be amazing with a simple t-shirt or a gorgeous dress.

P.S. Honestly... WTF has a great tutorial for a similar handpiece.
