On My Radar No. 19

Bright colors, good times, and fun patterns always lighten my mood.  It really is the simple pleasures that brighten the mundane.

I hope you all have a lovely weekend!

On My Radar No. 18

I got the job I interviewed for last week!  Now I've been daydreaming of dangerous purchases that could become plausible with a steady income. . .

Gretchen Jones

Do you all remember the winner of last season's Project Runway?  Well, if you have forgotten, or suppressed, it was Gretchen Jones.  She has an exclusive jewelry line for Piperlime.  I love the style of the pieces, but sadly they're a bit expensive for gold-plated.

Odette New York

I love Odette New York's new collection "the fells."  The pieces are tiny sculptures handmade through pencil sketches and wax molds before being cast into metal.

Satomi Kawakita

I love this pearl ring, it would make a lovely wedding band (albeit impractically delicate.)

Tessa Blazey

I came across Tessa Blazey's work on Pinterest, she is a fascinating jeweler from Melbourne, Australia.  Working with theories of illusion and camouflage she makes incredible designs, including this new series of rings.

Catherine Weitzman Handmade Jewelry Designs

I love the mix of organic shapes and metalwork in jewelry.  It looks as though you can freeze the essence of nature and keep a piece forever in a Catherine Weitzman design.

I came across the delightful Etsy shop Mirta through Modish, one of my favorite blogs as of late.  There is a beautiful simplicity to her pieces.

A Cup of Jo: Signet Wedding Ring

I love reading Joanna's blog; she is so sweet and has fantastic taste.  I also love that she is always looking for wedding dresses and wedding rings just because (so I'm not the only one.)

On her blog she posted this gorgeous signet ring with the idea of putting your new initials (if you take his last name.)  I think it would be simply adorable.

Fay Andrada

I love the teardrop shape of this handmade ring.

Kamofie

Understated. Unexpected. Feminine. Alluring.  The look of Kamofie is characterized by what designer Sofia calls, "bohemian elegance."

I couldn't agree more.
