"I have never been a morning person in my whole life, we both used to stay up til 12 or 1 and get up with barely enough time to get ready and run out the door, but now we go to bed around 10 and get up with at least two hours to read, eat, and get ready nice and slow. Every Friday morning we get up extra early and walk to the farmers market, my favorite ritual and plus of living in this weather. I wish the mornings went on forever."

Mornings
Lately I've been trying to enjoy mornings more. It is such a great time to relax and start the day off right: yoga, french press coffee. . . I've always loved this post from Kate on her blog For Me, For You.

Interior of the Week
The warmth of Gregory Beauchamp's Venice home is fantastic. The mix of pattern, Pendleton fabrics, warm oranges, and vintage pieces combine beautifully. Head over to Design*Sponge for more lovely images and details.

On My Radar No. 1
I thought it might be fun to do a compilation feature of my ever growing wishlist.
I have been wanting a new key fob for a while now (to replace my "2006" one from high school) and this Kate Spade tennis racquet one is perfection. Maybe I can justify getting it for a community college graduation present ;) I've also been loving ikat patterns, cross-body purses, and panama hats.
It's crazy how many completely unnecessary wants a person can have in this world. Guilty. . .

Snapshot to Style No. 1
I came across Jessica Comingore's blog through For Me, For You a few days ago. As I perused the archives, I fell in love with her Snapshot to Style feature. It's such a fun way to look at fashion, because inspiration can come from anywhere.
(I chose to use the same title with reverence to Jessica's lovely feature.)

Interior of the Week
I love the luxury of this room: the gorgeous ceiling beams, tufted headboard, and the patterned rug. The furniture plan is also lovely, with the sofa at the end of the bed creating a small seating space.

Note to Self
I know I get caught up in this mentality. It's always nice to be reminded that it's good to be unique.

How I Met Your Mother: Yellow Umbrella
If you watch How I Met Your Mother, you realize the importance of the yellow umbrella. I've fancied having one ever since. This one is particularly delightful.

Interior Inspiration: Drapes
I love the warmth and color that drapes can provide to a room. While it can be nice to have simple, clean blinds in a room, you can't beat the drama of great drapes.

Outfit Inspiration: Scarf
If you follow my blog, you know that I'm obsessed with scarfs, particularly square silk scarfs. They are an easy way to add color to an outfit and an easy way to dress up a simple outfit.

Sperry Top-Sider
I've been a little obsessed with boat shoes lately. I can't wait to wear a pair this spring. Sperry Top-sider seems to be the go-to brand and I'm leaning towards the Angelfish Slip-On.

Interior Inspiration: Wallpaper
Wallpaper can be tricky. It takes a bit of chutzpah to pull it off. But if you can handle it and pick a beautiful wallpaper, nothing adds more warmth and personality to a space.
Although wallpaper can be pricey, it can be added in smaller spaces, such as, to the back of a bookcase or even just framing a large remnant of wallpaper to hang on the wall.

This outfit is perfection: the headscarf, round sunnies, tweed blazer, crisp button-up, shoulder bag, and skinny belt. . . Phew! That's a lot of lovely in one outfit.

Matchbook Magazine
I love this list from the January No. 12 issue of Matchbook Magazine. It's fun to have some simple pleasures and add some levity to the year with scrabble, road trips, and baking.
