Davis Cup San Diego

After going to the Davis Cup tie in Boise last year, I couldn't wait to go to another tie. Well, the tennis gods were kind and the 1st round this year is in San Diego. USA versus Great Britain, with Andy Murray headlining. I can't wait for the first rubber!

Davis Cup Weekend!

@Bryanbrothers put on a show during open practice in Boise as Captain Courier looks on.
I'm in Boise, Idaho today to watch Novak Djokovic v. John Isner and Sam Querrey v. Viktor Troicki. Never thought I would say that.  I can't wait for the Bryan Brothers to play tomorrow.  It's not every weekend that you get to cross something off your Mighty Life List.  Hope you have a great weekend!
Here are a few links from the week:

It's the weekend!

It's so cold with the inversion in the Salt Lake Valley, but nevertheless tennis lessons start again tomorrow in the bubble at Liberty Park.  Have a lovely weekend, and here are a few interesting things from the week...

Stand-Up Paddleboard Yoga Class

Would you sign up for a stand-up paddleboard yoga class?  This WSJ article by Jen Murphy discusses the details of a class near Isle of Palms in South Carolina, close to Charleston.  Now that's the way to shake up a workout routine. . .

Happiness

After watching the documentary Happy on Netflix (Joanna's recommendation), I naturally felt the need to assess what I could do to increase my happiness.  Following the advice for physical activity and self-improvement I would love to prioritize taking tennis lessons, yoga classes, and possibly trying ballet barre.  For more social activities: tennis socials, volunteering, and dinners with friends.

Mostly, I need to minimize my clothes wishlist and think more about experiences, such as traveling.  I can't wait to travel to far off countries and experience all 50 states.  I would also love to check more things off my Mighty Life List.

What makes you happy?  I'd love to hear.

Travel List: Prague

The Czech Republic capital of Prague (Praha in Czech) has a thrilling history and gorgeous architecture. There is a definite European romance to the city and I could even check off trying absinthe from my Mighty Life List while in Prague.

Travel List: Machu Picchu

I am amazed by Machu Picchu and since my architectural history teacher in college described his experiences there I have wanted to go even more.  He spoke about the magic of seeing the sunrise and suggested staying in a hotel overnight at the top of the mountain to avoid the afternoon tourists.

This incredible Incan site is on my Mighty Life List for sure...

Mighty Life List

I hope you all have a fantastic weekend!  I'll be spending time with my nieces and nephew and hopefully crossing something off my Mighty Life List.  (I'm thinking of baking multigrain bread.)
