On My Radar No. 9

Looking at the color palette of my closet has made it clear that I need more brights and color in my wardrobe.  Spring is the perfect time to add those much needed pops of color.

Sonia by Sonia Rykiel

French designer Sonia Rykiel's clothing is undeniably cheerful.  How could these pieces not make the day brighter?

Outfit Inspiration: Pink + Red

I've been thinking more and more about this combination since seeing Emma Stone’s outfit for the Friends With Benefits premiere.  I think it's lovely for spring.

Recipe Overload

I've been looking at tons of recipes for dinner ideas.  As a vegetarian, it can be easy to get stuck in a rut and it's nice to find inspiration.  I can't wait for fresh tomatoes, peaches, and beets.

Interior of the Week

I love when spaces feel pulled together over time: mismatched furniture, crazy knickknacks, and eclectic artwork.  It all combines to make a room with personality.

P.S.  I also love the gray grasscloth wallpaper.  Divine.

Dieppa Restrepo

I love menswear inspired shoes for women.  These Dieppa Restrepo loafers and oxfords are perfection.

Snapshot to Style No. 6

The photos from Sivan Askayo's project Intimacy Under the Wires are phenomenal.  I love the intimate nature of capturing someone's laundry drying on the line.

MAKR Carry Goods

Incredible craftsmanship and timeless designs.  MAKR Carry Goods is a class act.

Interior of the Week

Cozy and feminine. . . the perfect room for the transition from winter to spring.

Lunar Globes

I've been on the lookout for a globe of the moon.  It's such a quirky object from the 1960's.

I also just watched this fascinating video from NASA about how the moon evolved.  I had no idea it was so intense.

Aubin & Wills: Beachwood Blouse

This blouse from Aubin & Wills with a slim silhouette and a peter pan collar is lovely.

Outfit Inspiration: Drama

There is an element of drama in a good editorial photo.  I love the contrasts, movement, and quirks of these outfits.  A little edge to an outfit is never a bad thing. . .

Kate Spade and Tennis

Loving coverage of the Indian Wells tournament this week and Kate Spade's tennis-themed new arrivals.

Interior of the Week

I love the contrast of textures in this dining room: the amazing copper pendants, the wood cantilever, and the classic molded chairs.

On My Radar No. 7

I would love to wear dresses more often.  It looks like fun to be a Zooey Deschanel-type ingenue.

Snapshot to Style No. 5

I love this interior: the pale pink walls, built-in bookcases, Danish furniture, and eclectic art all add up to a personal space with a beautiful color palette.

West Elm - Offset Bench

This bench from West Elm is the perfect mix of classic and quirky.  I love the hybrid of bench and storage, perfect for any entry.

Interior of the Week

I have been catching up on Emily Henderson's show Secrets of a Stylist and loved this room.  The guy was all futuristic, the girl was all granny-chic, and I was totally on board with the resulting look - Eclectic Artsy Odyssey.

I love the wallpaper, the art pieces, the pops of red, and especially that grey linen chair.  I am now officially on the hunt for anything similar: retro lines, tufting, matching ottoman. . .

On My Radar No. 6

I'm going to Hawaii for Spring Break in two weeks!  So, I've been trying to get myself in gear for an early swimsuit season and, of course, drinking Mai Tais on the beach.

Lookbook: Slushy Winter

It has been a pitiful winter so far here in Utah: rain, slush, and very little snow.  I would love to have a cozy anorak and some fancy rain boots. . .
