I've been thinking about this phone case for over a year, but it's so expensive... My taste much exceeds my budget lately. How is your holiday season going?

I'm slowly replacing most of my IKEA purchases (only minimal offense to IKEA ;-)  and this woven rug might just do the trick as a new area rug in my living room. I love the classic fair isle pattern in French Blue & Ivory. Also, the coral version of Dior's Addict Lip Glow has been sold out the last few times I've looked, so I might just have to snag it over this holiday season. Anything on your radar lately?

I'm discovering that my tastes don't exactly fit my budget that easily, but slowly building my closet up with quality pieces this year has been strangely satisfying. It's nice to have quality over quantity and pieces that will last years, rather than one season. Although it's still nice to pick up something at the Gap or Zara once in a while;)

Olivia Terrell Jewelry

Obsessed with this rose gold armlet from designer Olivia Terrell. Born and raised in Nashville, she currently lives in Madrid, Spain. Miss Moss featured her new Deco lookbook and it is divine...

The summer is already waning. The last concert of the Twilight Concert Series is tonight and I've been listening non-stop to San Fermin. I also bought a last-minute ticket to the Sylvan Esso concert tomorrow night. Do you have any end of summer plans?

Here are a few things that have caught my eye lately...

Loving light linen, spicy fragrances, hydrating spring water mist, and a sweet tote bag that holds two bottles of wine. Summer, anyone?

Currently loving some serious ice cubes for cocktails, glossy black t-strap Birkenstock sandals, this relaxed cornflower blue clutch from Coach, and playing Hozier's From Eden EP on repeat.

Counting down the days until warmer weather and trying to find some versatile pieces for a late spring trip to Europe! I just booked a G Adventures YOLO tour from London to Rome for May. As an added bonus, I'll also be able to go to the Internazionali BNL d'Italia for a couple days after the tour. (Well, I might have timed it that way, but still an added bonus.)

Here are a few pieces on my radar...

I remember Cameron Crowe talking about making mixtapes when he was younger, how they were capsules of his mood, interests, and taste. It's always so interesting to flip back through pages pulled from magazines or old blogs posts.

Here are a few things currently on my mind...

Diamond Studs

Watching Project Runway's challenge tonight with millions of dollars in jewels got me thinking about diamonds. . . I love these brown diamond studs from Satomi Kawakita, classic with a twist.

Seaworthy

Seaworthy (designed by Marisa Howard of Portland, Oregon) has been getting a lot of well deserved press as of late.  A feature in Lonny Magazine and a mention on Miss Moss turned me on to these lovely necklaces.  They are classic with an edge and perfect for summer.

Clare Vivier Fannypack

A bit obsessed with these bum bags from Clare Vivier.  I can already see myself traveling, wandering the US Open grounds this August, or exploring the Rose Bowl Flea Market looking über chic with a fannypack, ha!
Which color would you pick?  This is a serious investment. . .

Wide Brim Wool Felt Hats

I never thought I would be a person with a growing hat collection, but with an expanding collection of Panama hats and baseball caps, I think a wide brim wool felt hat might not be too far away. . .

These Janessa Leone hats from her sophomore collection "Shadows" are meant to be passed down to many future generations; what a lovely sentiment.

Dressing up Blazers

I love these two ways to dress up blazers featured on Tomboy Style.  Lapel pins and pocket squares are such an easy way to add a feminine touch and personality to menswear.  It's shocking that women's blazers don't include functional breast pockets or boutonnières more often.

Kate Spade Scallop Ring

Love this scallop ring from Kate Spade.  The perfect mix of classic and whimsy.
